Marketing Associate

Marketing

Remote

Full Time

Most marketing in wealth management technology sounds the same: faster workflows, more automation, AI-powered everything. It blurs together because it is saying the same thing. WealthStream has a different point of view. We believe the real problem in advice is not speed — it is judgment. And the firms that figure out how to scale judgment across their team will be the ones that win.

As a Marketing Associate, you will help translate that worldview into content, campaigns, and programs that cut through the noise. This is not a "post three times a week and track impressions" role. You will be building the language and presence for a company that is trying to change how the industry thinks about what good advice actually requires.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute content across channels — blog posts, email campaigns, social media, case studies, event materials — all grounded in WealthStream's core philosophy: better advice, delivered by better advisors.

  • Support thought leadership efforts for the founder and executive team. Help shape drafts, research talking points, and prepare materials for conferences, podcasts, and media opportunities.

  • Build and manage campaigns that reach RIA firm leaders, advisors, and industry influencers — focused on the people who care about advice quality, not just the ones shopping for tools.

  • Own marketing operations — email nurture sequences, CRM hygiene, analytics, and reporting. Track what resonates and feed those insights back into strategy.

  • Collaborate with sales to create enablement materials that reflect how WealthStream actually sells: consultative, philosophy-led, grounded in the firm's real problems.

  • Research and monitor the wealth management landscape — competitor positioning, industry trends, regulatory shifts — and surface opportunities for WealthStream to lead the conversation.

  • Coordinate event presence — from custodian conferences to intimate advisor dinners — ensuring WealthStream shows up as a company with a genuine point of view.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-4 years of marketing experience, ideally in fintech, wealth management, financial services, or B2B SaaS.

  • Strong writing ability. You can take a complex idea and make it clear, sharp, and human. You know the difference between content that sounds smart and content that actually says something.

  • Comfort with a philosophy-driven brand. You are not just executing a content calendar — you are helping build a narrative that challenges how the industry thinks.

  • Familiarity with marketing tools — email platforms, CRM systems, social scheduling, analytics. You do not need to be an expert in all of them, but you should be comfortable learning fast.

  • A sense for what good looks like. You can spot when something feels like generic fintech copy versus when it sounds like WealthStream.

  • Curiosity about wealth management. You do not need to be an industry veteran, but you should be genuinely interested in how advisory firms work and what their clients actually value.

Nice to Have

  • Experience marketing to RIAs, financial advisors, or wealth management firms.

  • Background in content marketing, brand storytelling, or thought leadership programs.

  • Familiarity with the advisor technology landscape and industry media.

  • Experience at an early-stage company where you wore multiple hats and helped define the brand voice.

Why This Role Matters

There is too much productivity theater in this space — and the marketing reflects it. WealthStream's edge is not just a better product. It is a clearer way of seeing the problem. The marketing function is where that clarity becomes visible to the market. You will help firms understand that the question is not "how do I make my advisors faster?" but "how do I make my advisors better?" That shift in framing is the whole game.
