We are building systems that think in loops, call tools, reason over context, and execute tasks autonomously. As an Agentic Engineer, you will design and ship AI agents that operate in the real world — not just chatbots, but systems that plan, retrieve information, evaluate outcomes, and improve over time.

This role sits at the intersection of machine learning, systems design, and product engineering. You’ll move fluidly between prompt architecture, backend logic, API orchestration, evaluation pipelines, and user-facing behavior. The goal is simple but ambitious: turn probabilistic models into dependable operators.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement multi-step AI agents using LLMs, retrieval systems, memory layers, and tool integrations.

• Build robust orchestration logic for planning, reasoning, and task execution.

• Develop evaluation frameworks to measure agent reliability, hallucination rates, and task success metrics.

• Integrate external APIs, databases, and internal services into agent toolchains.

• Optimize latency, cost, and performance for production-scale deployment.

• Collaborate with product and design to translate ambiguous goals into autonomous systems.

• Continuously experiment with new model capabilities, techniques, and architectures.

  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Strong engineering fundamentals in backend systems (Python, TypeScript, or similar).

• Experience working with large language models, prompt engineering, or model APIs.

• Understanding of agent architectures, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool use patterns, or multi-agent systems.

• Experience building production systems — not just prototypes.

• Comfort with ambiguity. You’ll be exploring new ground regularly.

• A bias toward shipping. Research is valuable, but deployed systems matter more.

Nice to Have

• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and search infrastructure.

• Familiarity with evaluation harnesses and model benchmarking.

• Experience optimizing AI systems for cost and scalability.

• Exposure to distributed systems or real-time pipelines.
